Richmond, Va. — Several thousand fans headed out to Redskins training camp in Richmond for fan appreciation day Saturday.
Roughly 7,130 people attended, part of an overall attendance for the Richmond camp that is down from the prior聽two years, team officials said.
After a final day in Richmond on Sunday, the team will return to Northern Virginia ahead of its second preseason game Thursday against the Detroit Lions at FedEx Field.
The team has planned another 聽fan day at Redskins Park in Ashburn, Virginia聽on聽Sunday, Aug. 23. Fans can register for tickets聽at聽聽the team’s website,聽.
The Redskins and Ravens are scheduled in Baltimore on Aug. 29, week three聽of the preseason.
