WASHINGTON 鈥� Domino鈥檚 Japan had an idea in November: pizzas delivered by reindeer.
Alas, it was not meant to be.that the pizza retailer has canceled the caribou-based delivery program in Hokkaido after one week, after the reindeer 鈥渃ontinually shook their antlers, refused to stop at delivery spots, and kept dislodging the pizzas from their delivery pouches.鈥�
In what may have been part of the plan all along, Domino鈥檚 will instead deliver using GPS-equipped scooters adorned as reindeer. Customers will be able to track their orders through an app.
