reached out to the automaker and聽spokesman Johan Larsson explained that the video is mislabeled and said that the聽car is not attempting to self-park.
鈥淚t seems they are trying to demonstrate pedestrian detection and auto-braking,鈥 Larsson said in an email to Fusion.net. 鈥淯nfortunately, there were some issues in the way the test was conducted.鈥
Larsson says the people who purchased the vehicle in this demonstration did not pay聽for the 鈥淧edestrian detection functionality,鈥 which is a feature that costs extra.
