1 dead, 5 injured after car crash in Prince George’s Co.

One man is dead, and five others were inured after a car crash in Prince George’s County, Maryland.

The two-car collision happened around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday on Good Luck Road near Robert Frost Elementary School in New Carrollton.

According to police, showed that 20-year-old Chris Brian Orellana of Lanham was driving in a car going eastbound on Good Luck Road when he lost control and crossed the center double yellow line, striking a minivan.

Police say Orellana was taken to a hospital, where he later died.

The driver of the minivan and four passengers were also hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are investigating what led up to the crash.
