WASHINGTON — Meet Ricky, the Washington Animal Rescue League鈥檚 Pet of the Week. This handsome, energetic Catahoula mix has been an adored canine companion. Unfortunately, a change in family circumstances means he is now looking for a new home.
And any home would be lucky to have this friendly, social boy. Ricky enjoys meeting people and happily greets them if approached. He loves to take walks and is unbothered by city noises such as construction, trucks or ambulances; he鈥檚 far too busy gathering 鈥渄ata鈥 from the grass, leaves and lamp posts.
Ricky knows such basic commands as sit, down and wait鈥nd will happily learn more. So if you鈥檙e looking for a handsome, well-rounded dog (and one who will certainly turn heads), Ricky may just be the one!
