KFC brings back Colonel Sanders in new ads (Video)

WASHINGTON 鈥斅燭he Colonel is making a comeback.

KFC is resurrecting Colonel Sanders for its latest ad campaign celebrating 75 years since the chain鈥檚 secret fried chicken recipe was created.

In the ads set to air on Memorial Day, 鈥淪aturday Night Live鈥 alumnus Darrel Hammond plays the fried chicken chain鈥檚 white-suit-wearing symbol delivering a 鈥淪tate of Kentucky Fried Chicken Address.鈥

The real Colonel, Harland Sanders, founded the chain and died in 1980.

The ad marks the first time in decades that the Sanders character, played by an actual actor, has been front and center in advertisements, reports
