WASHINGTON — If your coworkers show up Friday in some bold fashion choices, there’s a good reason: Dec. 12 is National Ugly Christmas Sweater Day.
According to MarketWatch, Groupon Inc. has sold 40,000 ugly sweaters since mid- October, a top seller between Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
Also since October, Groupon has run about 24 ugly sweater deals, including ones for dogs and small children, MarketWatch .
In other stores, the ugly sweaters are featured alongside better looking clothing.
