March: “Between Two Ferns with Zach Galifianakis: President Barack Obama” as well as several music videos defined March.
April: “Kicked in the head by a train” had people guessing if it was an April Fools prank while a tiny hamster with a burrito ranked high on the cute list.
May: “World’s Toughest Job – #worldstoughestjob – Official Video” and a drag queen’s historic win made YouTube fame.
June: “Meghan Trainor – All About That Bass” as well as World Cup videos epitomized the month.
July: “Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17 Crash Moment In Donetsk Oblast Of Ukraine, Jul 17 2014” marked much of the month, while more lighthearted clips, such as a dog passing out from excitement, went viral.
