3 rescued after boat overturns in Norfolk

NORFOLK, Va. (AP) — A Norfolk emergency official says a civilian rescued three people after their boat overturned.

Norfolk-Fire Rescue Battalion Chief Julian Williamson tells The Virginian-Pilot (http://bit.ly/1sc0xN9 ) that there were no injuries.

Williamson says the incident occurred around 6:10 p.m. Monday in Ocean View.

The rescuer wasn’t identified.
