WASHINGTON– It’s not everyday one gets to ask the best man at their wedding to play a White Walker, the mother of the groom a red sorceress, or the father of the bride a giant simple man named “Hodor.”
But one couple — and obviously they are big Game of Thrones fans — won a to blow out their wedding GOT-style, and the results are amazing. From the costumes — the groom played steely Northman and Blackwatch brother Jon Snow; the bride, Mother of Dragons Daenerys Targaryen — to the horses, swords, English castle and wedding cake, everything appeared straight off the set of their favorite show.
As Dennis Green over at which has a great collection of photos of the event, pointed out, “Hopefully GoT stands the test of time, so the couple won’t have to explain when they show their children these extravagant wedding photos.”
