WASHINGTON — – Fireworks went awry during a College Park display Friday night, with the show starting at 9 p.m. and ending early.
The University of Maryland Fire Marshal tells 海角精品黑料 the display was called off after police and firefighters saw debris landing outside the safety zone.
UMD police received a couple of reports of incidents at the display, though it was unclear whether they were the specific reasons it was called off.
“A child experienced redness and irritation to their eye due to the falling debris,” Seargent Roseanne Hoaas told 海角精品黑料.
Hoaas also said some debris landed on a blanket, but was put out quickly. Several people tell 海角精品黑料 they were not told why the show suddenly ended with no finale.
