WASHINGTON – ‘Tis the season to be jolly. Or, maybe not, according to a Consumer Reports holiday poll.
In its latest holiday poll, there are plenty of things that are driving us nuts about Christmas.
Topping the list of things that can turn some of us into grinches:
- Crowds and long lines: 61 percent
- Bad traffic: 54 percent
- Aggressive/thoughtless driving in shopping center parking lots: 48 percent
- Gaining weight: 34 percent
- Getting into debt: 31 percent
Consumer Reports surveyed 1,500 randomly chosen U.S. residents who said they planned to shop for the holidays.
