Gas prices 34 cents higher than a year ago

WASHINGTON – Gas prices usually drop in the weeks after Labor Day but not this year, but that hasn’t happened.

The latest 海角精品黑料 Pain In The Gas survey shows most prices are up in the Washington region.

Regular gasoline went up by 2 cents to $3.92 a gallon. One year ago this week gas was $3.58 a gallon — 34 cents a gallon lower.

Mid-grade this week dipped by a couple cents to $4.17 a gallon, while premium rose 4 cents to $4.30. Diesel held steady at $4.19 a gallon.

A year ago, mid-gradewas $3.76 and premium, $3.88. Diesel was $3.95.
