WASHINGTON — USA Today sports columnist Christine Brennan believes聽scheduling both the Men鈥檚 and Women鈥檚 NCAA Tournaments simultaneously .
鈥淭he answer right now is we have no idea how great this tournament can be and how high it could soar,鈥� she said on 海角精品黑料 Thursday of the Women鈥檚 Tournament. 鈥淏ecause it is held down by the fact that it is going up against one of the great cultural things in our country.鈥�
With the tournaments running concurrently, fewer people watch the women鈥檚 game鈥檚 showcase event.
鈥淭oday is the best day in women鈥檚 basketball in terms of talent, and skill, and coaching, until tomorrow,鈥� Brennan said.
She suggested moving the women鈥檚 tournament to finish before the men鈥檚 tournament even begins, a move she says Maryland Women鈥檚 head coach Brenda Frese agrees with.
