Fleetwood Mac classic re-enters Billboard charts thanks to meme

WASHINGTON 鈥 A Fleetwood Mac classic has re-entered the Billboard charts more than 40 years after it was originally released thanks to an internet meme.

The 1977 No. 1 hit “Dreams” is set to hit No. 16 on the Hot Rock list this week, .

The meme was created, presumably, to show the classic rock band’s moody music is actually danceable. The meme features the Golden Girls dance line and the Sounds of Dyn-O-Mite marching band from Alcorn State University, a historically black college in Lorman, Mississippi.

The meme has been retweeted more than 131,000 times.
