Police investigating after 2 men seriously injured in fall from Montgomery Co. balcony

Two men suffered traumatic injuries in a fall from a second-floor balcony in Montgomery County, Maryland, Monday morning.

First responders were called to Cypress Spring Road in Clarksburg about 8 a.m., a spokesman for Montgomery County Fire and Rescue said on Twitter.

Both men were evaluated at the scene for traumatic injuries. One was said to have life-threatening injuries, according to police.

A Montgomery County police spokeswoman told 海角精品黑料 one of the men is 38 and the other is 42. She said police are investigating the circumstances of the fall, but it appears a portion of railing on the deck gave way.

One of the men was taken by medevac helicopter to Shock Trauma in Baltimore, and the other was taken by ambulance to Suburban Hospital in Bethesda.

Cypress Spring Road is a community of town houses south of Ovid Hazen Wells Recreational Park.
