WASHINGTON 鈥� Police have identified the body found inside a burned vehicle in Montgomery County Saturday.
The Montgomery County police said Wednesday that the body of Andrea Hawvermale, 56,聽was found on a property near her family鈥檚 home on Excalibur Lane, in Sandy Spring, Saturday at about 8:30 a.m.
They鈥檝e labeled the death as suspicious; police and fire crews are conducting a joint investigation.
Hawvermale was a mother of four who was active in a group dedicated to the rights of property owners in Prince George鈥檚 County. She is listed as vice president-secretary treasurer of the Prince George鈥檚 County Property Owners Association; her husband, John, is listed as director.
Her obituary in The Washington Post described her as 鈥渁 woman of strength and integrity.鈥�
