Some ACT tests canceled as snow moves into region

WASHINGTON — ACT tests at some D.C.-area high schools are canceled on Saturday as snow moves into the region.

On Friday evening, several schools in Maryland and Virginia canceled Saturday activities as forecasts called for 2 to 4 inches of snow throughout the region. The cancellations included ACT tests.

In Maryland, Charles County’s ACT at Westlake High School were canceled as were the ACT tests planned for Howard County Public Schools.

There is a Winter Storm Warning in effect for Calvert, St. Mary’s and Charles counties in Maryland until 4 p.m. Saturday. There is a Winter Weather Advisory through 4 p.m. Saturday for the immediate D.C. area.
