WASHINGTON 鈥� A Northeast D.C. woman is facing multiple charges after police say she threw gasoline on her boyfriend and set his house on fire.
say it happened around 5 p.m. on July 19, when officers were called to a home on Sherwood Hill Road in Owings Mills.
The homeowner told police that his girlfriend, 29-year-old Lisa Finley, threw gasoline on him and reportedly 鈥渉eld a lighter and stated that she was going to kill him.鈥� He told police he then fled the home.
The victim told police that when he came back to the home, he found a fire inside. It was extinguished by the sprinkler system.
Police say Finley turned herself in to police on Monday. She is charged with聽 attempted first-degree murder, first-degree arson and first-degree assault.
