WASHINGTON 鈥 A Northeast D.C. woman is facing multiple charges after police say she threw gasoline on her boyfriend and set his house on fire.
say it happened around 5 p.m. on July 19, when officers were called to a home on Sherwood Hill Road in Owings Mills.
The homeowner told police that his girlfriend, 29-year-old Lisa Finley, threw gasoline on him and reportedly 鈥渉eld a lighter and stated that she was going to kill him.鈥 He told police he then fled the home.
The victim told police that when he came back to the home, he found a fire inside. It was extinguished by the sprinkler system.
Police say Finley turned herself in to police on Monday. She is charged with聽 attempted first-degree murder, first-degree arson and first-degree assault.
