Motorcyclist dies after Chantilly crash

WASHINGTON — A motorcyclist died after an accident on southbound Va. 28 before U.S. 50 Friday morning.

Fairfax County police tell º£½Ç¾«Æ·ºÚÁÏ the motorcyclist died following the 6 a.m. Friday collision.

The crash investigation closed Va. 28 for 4 1/2 hours. Two lanes reopened just around 9:30 a.m. and all lanes an hour later.

Roads in Dulles, Chantilly and Centreville were more crowded as drivers took alternative routes to Va. 28.

Fairfax County police say more information about the crash will be released Friday.
