Sex tape found near Va. attempted murder-suicide electrocution

WASHINGTON 鈥 Fairfax County police say a Virginia woman was killed after a man she was dating electrocuted her after they recorded a sex tape.

The daughter of 56-year-old Kum Yeon聽reported the Alexandria woman missing Dec. 21. Later that day, a search warrant led Fairfax County Police to the 73-year-old suspect’s home located in the聽7100 block of Pennys Town Court in Annandale.

After knocking on the door, police say officers peered through the basement window to see Yeon lying naked on the floor, handcuffed next to the suspect who was tying an electrical cord around his wrist.

The cord was attached to a circuit breaker and police say he was trying to electrocute himself.

Investigators say the man left a note saying he wanted to kill Yeon and himself. Also, police confirm officers found a sex tape of the two from earlier that day.

The suspect is still hospitalized and has not been charged.
