‘Shark Week’ is officially over; time to snap into ‘Jet Week’

WASHINGTON 鈥 “Shark Week” has come and gone again, leading countless “West Side Story” fans to snap in wonder: why no 鈥淛et Week?”

Wouldn鈥檛 you want to celebrate with聽F-16s or A-4s?聽 Five days of DC-10s and B-1s?

The success of 鈥淭op Gun鈥 suggests otherwise.

Of course, lost in the shuffle is the fact that the Jets and Sharks dueled to a stalemate, but not before bagging 10聽Oscars, including the Best Picture of 1961聽in a film celebrating its 55th anniversary.

Now that the Sharks have had their day, it鈥檚 time for the Jets to have their way.

This week,聽海角精品黑料 hosts “Jet Week,鈥 honoring the cast of late 20-somethings playing teenagers.聽We鈥檒l have the necessary power rankings of the combined gangs (you鈥檒l be surprised who lands at No. 1). We鈥檒l hand out the actual blame for the bloodshed. And we鈥檒l also wrap up with what happened to each of the characters after those two fateful nights on the west side. Somewhere鈥
