A Metro bus driver was hurt during a shooting Sunday night near Capital One Arena, according to a Metro spokesperson.
The shooting happened around 6:30 p.m. Sunday 鈥� 30 minutes into a Wizards game at the arena 鈥� near the intersection of 7th and H street N.W.
The bus driver wasn’t hit by a bullet, but they were injured by broken glass. Paramedics treated the driver at the scene, the Metro spokesperson said.
海角精品黑料 was unable to confirm any other injuries from gunfire in the proximity of the arena. D.C. police were contacted for comment but did not respond ahead of publication.
An announcement alerted fans to 鈥減olice activity鈥� near the arena as well.
Update: Police on site at 7th and H St. Ongoing investigation, please be prepared to walk around police activity when leaving Capital One Arena.
