Power restored for Capitol Hill residents after circuit breaker problem

WASHINGTON – Power is back on for nearly all residents in the Capitol Hill area of D.C. Monday night.

PEPCO says it was working to repair a problem with a circuit breaker earlier in the night.

The outage started just before 8 p.m., and impacted people living in the area between the Supreme Court and Lincoln Park along East Capitol Street.

According to , about 51 customers were without power as of 11:25 p.m.

PEPCO estimates power will be full restored around 12 a.m.
