WASHINGTON– Police are still looking for a suspect in Saturday’s fatal shooting that left one dead.
The victim, Matthew Shlonsky, 23, of Northeast聽D.C., was a聽2014聽graduate聽of聽American University. Shlonsky was killed聽just before 5 p.m. Saturday.聽The shooting occurred on the 1800 block of Seventh Street, Northwest.
Shlonsky was taken to an area hospital聽where he later died from his injuries. Police are still looking for a burgundy聽Chrysler 300 with Maryland license plates seen fleeing the scene.

Police are also offering a 聽reward of up to $25,000 to anyone that provides information which leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for any homicide committed in D.C. 聽Additionally, anonymous information may be submitted to the department鈥檚 text tip line聽by text messaging 50411.
