WASHINGTON — A man is dead after a fire ripped through a rowhouse in Northeast D.C. Sunday 聽morning.
D.C. fire officials say the blaze broke out at about 10:45 a.m. on Eastern Avenue near Riggs Road on the first and second floors of the home.
A man was taken to a hospital, where he later died.聽A woman who lived in the home was also taken to the hospital, and is expected to survive.
