WASHINGTON — An early morning water main break closed U.S. 29/Lee Highway in Fairfax, Virginia, for hours on Wednesday.
The 12-inch main was confirmed broken around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday morning at U.S. 29 and Blake Lane.
The northbound lanes reopened around 6:30 a.m.; the southbound lanes, at about 1 p.m.
Susan Miller, with Fairfax Water, told º£½Ç¾«Æ·ºÚÁÏ in an email that utility crews are at the scene working to confirm the number of customers who will be without water.
