WASHINGTON — A brake problem caused smoke to be seen near an Orange Line Metro train Friday morning — just a few days after an , causing one death and injuring dozens more.
On Friday morning, Metro riders saw smoke near an Orange Line train in Rosslyn at about 9:30 a.m. Metro聽Spokesman Dan Stessel says it involved a brake problem and it was an isolated incident.
The train has been taken out of service and聽there are no major disruptions.
The smoke rattled commuters after a Yellow Line Metro train filled with smoke near L鈥橢nfant Plaza Monday. One woman — 61-year-old Carol Glover — died Monday after being trapped in the train. More than 80 people were taken to hospitals.
