WASHINGTON 鈥擯olice have recovered the body of聽a Virginia聽boater who died while trying to retrieve a fishing rod from the Potomac River on Sunday.
The body of Bniamin Adel Rastkheez, 31, of Falls Church, was found聽near Piscataway Park in Charles County by Maryland Natural Resources police on Tuesday, .
According to police, Rastkheez jumped into the water to retrieve the fishing rod but never came back up. Another man and a woman were in the boat when he went into the water.
Rastkheez was not wearing a life vest.
DNR police said that he drowned in the river.
