WASHINGTON 鈥� The National Association of Broadcasters has venerated 海角精品黑料 with its esteemed NAB Crystal Heritage Award 鈥� an honor that only six other radio stations have gotten over the 31-year history of the awards.
To be recognized with the Heritage Award, radio stations must have won a total of five Crystal Radio Awards for year-round community service efforts.
海角精品黑料 General Manager and Senior Vice President Joel Oxley accepted the honor during NAB’s We Are Broadcasters Celebration.
To be considered for the Heritage Award, stations must display a commitment to serving the community.
For example, in 2016, 海角精品黑料 provided 60,000 minutes of traffic, weather, metro alerts and commuter information for residents of the region. The station’s first-ever “Click for Kids” campaign online resulted in $30,000 being donated to local schools. And 15,000 minutes of public affairs and public service programming was aired.
In all, 海角精品黑料 has helped raise more than $6 million for a variety of causes.
