Sarah Gibson has an Honors B.A. in English (with a concentration in Professional Writing) with Distinction from the University of Delaware, and an M.A. in Journalism and Public Affairs (with a concentration in Investigative Journalism) from American University.
In Washington, D.C., Sarah has worked for the web team at º£½Ç¾«Æ·ºÚÁÏ, as an intern on the Investigative Desk of The Washington Post and as a graduate research assistant at the American University School of Communication’s Investigative Reporting Workshop. In Newark, Delaware, she worked as a Senior Reporter, Copy Desk Chief and literary reviewer for the University of Delaware’s student-run newspaper, The Review, and freelanced for the Newark Post, a local weekly newspaper.
Her undergraduate writing earned multiple awards, including a scholarship for women in journalism and recognition for the best series to be featured in The Review for the 2015 – 2016 academic year. In May 2017, Sarah published a thesis examining the role of women, millennials and technology in the future of journalism.
