Christopher Cruise is a writer, reporter and anchor at 海角精品黑料.
He retired from The Voice of America, where he anchored international newscasts and wrote and voiced stories for the Learning English branch. For six years — until it closed during the pandemic — Chris anchored newscasts on the 1,000-station Westwood One Radio Network. He was also, and remains, the primary backup host for Westwood鈥檚 two hour-long morning radio news and features programs — 鈥淎merica in the Morning鈥� and 鈥淔irst Light鈥� — and contributes to them weekly. 鈥淎merica in the Morning鈥� is heard on 海角精品黑料鈥檚 sister-station WFED AM 1500 every weekday at 5 a.m.
Chris teaches classes on the 1970s, Watergate, the Vietnam War and other subjects at Oasis, an adult education center in Montgomery County, where he has also interviewed book authors — including Len Downie, Molly Ball, and Diane Rehm. Chris also teaches federal employees at The Graduate School USA in Washington and around the country.
Chris is proud to be a retired federal employee, an Army veteran and the son and uncle of Army veterans, a member of SAG-AFTRA and a former member of — and steward for — AFGE.
